B’s WAX makes handcrafted clean burning 100% soybean wax candles with no dyes.  Soybean is nontoxic, biodegradable, and natural.  Our wicks are cotton core and our candle scents are a blend of essential oils, aromatic fragrances, and stabilizers which prevent the oil from precipitating out of the wax.  All candles are 8 oz. (note a full 8 oz. of candle) or Tea lights in packages of 12 and come dye free in their natural ivory color.

Candles should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.  Candles may yellow due to exposure to sunlight or fragrance oil, this does not affect the quality of the candle.  To avoid mushrooming of wicks, please trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting and after burning more than 2 hours.  Wick trimming ensures safety, increases burning time, and reduces any soot (soy produces very little soot and much less than paraffin candles).  Frosting is a natural characteristic of soy.  Also, soy candles may sweat and release oil at the top due temperature changes.  Simply wipe off the excess oil. 

Total burn time is approximate and depends on air flow, wick triming, and length of each burn time.  You can extend your candle burn time by burning candles long enough to allow the wax pool to reach the edge of the jar.  Maximum burn time should be about 1 hour for each inch in diameter.  B's WAX 8 oz. candles are 3 inches in diameter.  Maximum burn time should be no more than 3 hours each time the candle is lit.  Total burn time is about 50 hours for the 8 oz. candles and about 4 hours per tea light.
